The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is responsible for Education in Turkmenistan at all levels. ==History== In 2007, following the presidential decree, compulsory and free education was increased from 9 to 10 years. Currently number of state and private-owned course centers are operating in Turkmenistan. They mainly provide courses in languages, computer skills, mathematics and accounting. They work on licence base given by Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
